About
When Matt initially approached us, he was looking to elevate his current brand. We started the project within the scope of doing a brand and website refresh. However mid-way through drastic changes were made and we got to bring to life a brand and website that we had been dreaming of for a while.
Challenge
Living Room Wealth was a project filled with changes. Most of these were timeline related because of the change for the project from an older business (Resource Design) to Living Room, as well as a change on our side with a new team member. Matt approached us with the desire to update his current brand and website that left him feeling ‘meh’ and stuffy. This in a way presented another challenge because Matt found himself very inspired by whimsical and playful creative design, whereas KHD is minimalistic. This was an opportunity for us to step outside of the box, which we loved.
Outcome
Upon starting the project as Resource Design, it was very clear that Matt was ready for a big change. He presented inspiration that was very creative, playful and eclectic based. His passion for life was very clear, and he knew he wanted to work with folks in a similar life-stage as himself. The name Living Room Wealth had been something KHD had in the vault for just the right person, and when Matt showcased his values, we knew he was it. Once this was accepted, the process of creating the relaxed, relatable and fun design that is Living Room flowed smoothly. This project was so special and fun.
