I’m on a logo roll! No Cost Conference was one of those unusual clients that didn’t have much of an opinion about the logo. They just needed a new logo, period. And wanted me to create it– me like!
No Cost Conference has been in business for about 10 years. They provide free or inexpensive conference call service to a broad target market including business, churches, multi-level marketers and support groups. Their system is as simple as can be; it is easy to connect and most of the connections are through normal landlines. They have a large market share, but were ready for a face-lift.
They gave me some color requests, which I felt was spot on and then I took off to research land.
I usually come up with a few words that define the company. In this case they were: Cheap | Simplicity | Good ol’
The phone receiver indicates how No Cost Conference actually works while alluding to the good ol’ way. Because it is suppose to be a simple system, I wanted the logo to be as simple and minimalist as possible while still being interesting. It needed to point out that there were no associated fees and still look professional. The colors they requested were orange and blue; orange stands for friendly, cheerful confidence and is a modern color. Blue is trust, dependability, strength, and depending on the exact shade, could also be very contemporary.
